Philip is energised by the level of enterprise and societal transformation possible through the exploitation of the Internet of Things. He has over 25 years’ experience working for and with the CXO’s of global organisations in many sectors, including Orange, Nokia, Barclays, Wipro and PRS for Music, on numerous strategy, business development and programme delivery topics.

As the Vice President for Online Business, IoT & Cloud at Software AG, Philip leads the Go-To-Market activities for the online proposition of the Cumulocity IoT platform and strategic partnerships. Philip was the instigator of one of the innovation initiatives inside Nokia which became Cumulocity GmbH in 2010 and was later acquired and bolstered by Software AG in March 2017. Philip holds an MEng in Information Engineering, and an MBA from the University of Bath (UK)
