While cities are getting more under pressure with a multitude of urbanization challenges, it’s citizens are also becoming more demanding to increase their overall quality of life. The same challenge exists in Flanders, Belgium. The Flemish government has decided to take on this challenge head-on and has started a number of strategic projects to ensure they can stay ahead of the curve. One of the core initiatives of the Flemish Smart City strategy is a test and validation trajectory where concepts of solutions for particular city challenges can be validated in full concerto with citizens using a living lab approach. John will explain the current progress in the city of Antwerp using a number of real use-cases being deployed today using IoT technologies.Living
