In the early eighties, Johan Dekeyzer started the company Dekeyzer-Ossaer from his experiences in the meat industry. With a bachelor degree in economical sciences and business, Johan started on a small scale and grew the company in being a factory with staff of around 120 people and a continuous growing approximate annual turnover of 25 million €. The company focuses on portioning and preparing a diversity of meat products and its distribution to large scale customers such as industrial kitchens, restaurants, hospitals, schools and care-taking. In its close collaboration with its customers, the company is able to provide automation and customization and just-in time distribution, and applying various food-technology-innovations where useful. Johan is a Flemish entrepreneur with a strong commitment to its staff, and continuously interested in how new technologies can support the quality of the products, production and automation.
