Bart graduated as automation engineer from the “De Nayer” institute, in Belgium. He joined Siemens where he had several roles: product support automation, consultant and solution architect PCS7, Technology Mager DCS/MES and Digital Enterprise Coordinator. Bart has built digital twins for production machines to demonstrate Siemens capabilities, to integrate machine and automation design with commissioning optimisation, production optimisation and trouble shooting.

Simplified robotic engineering and fast application go-live

A demonstration machine for future electronic assembly processes has collaboratively been developed by Bohzon and Siemens based on a digital twin. The machine is virtually commissioned by Siemens in Germany, and design and manufacturing has been done by Bohzon in China. The value chain is completely represented digitally, which shortens the delivery time and the products manufacturing periods, saving time and providing opportunities for gaining additional market share.
